Bredenbury Primary is set in the breath taking rural setting of Herefordshire, we are approximately three miles south of the historic market town of Bromyard, and within easy reach of Leominster. The school is located just off the A44 in the village of Bredenbury.
The school was founded in 1874 and some of our parents and grandparents came here as pupils. Our grounds include a specially commissioned outdoor adventure playground, wildflower shrub gardens and a school field with a sleeping dragon and dragon’s nest. We also have a school pond, which we stock and maintain ourselves.
Our School Vision
We believe that learning should be an enjoyable, lifelong process through which everyone can achieve their potential and exceed their expectations. We will challenge and support our pupils to do their very best, by providing an extensive range of learning experiences beyond the statutory requirement.
How We Achieve Our School Vision
Our curriculum is the means by which we achieve our objectives of educating children in the knowledge, skills and understanding that they need in order to lead fullfilling lives. Our school curriculum is underpinned by our principle vision of providing high quality educational experiences that are focused on continued improvement in whole school standards and the development of independent and responsible learners.
Our Core Values
These are the core values of our school, upon which we have based our curriculum:
At Bredenbury Primary School we plan our curriculum effectively to provide continuity and progression. It promotes an enjoyment of learning and commitment to learning and achieving. We ensure children have a range of learning experiences that challenge, stimulate and promote learning and that meet the stautory requirements.
